Welcome to Newton in the Isle Village Hall

Newton in the Isle Village Hall was built in 1853 and was originally used as the Village School, until a new school was built in 1930. The hall was purchased by Newton Women’s Institute in 1931.

In 1978 the Parish Council created Newton Village Hall Charity to run the hall for the benefit of the community. In 1998 and 2008 the hall obtained funding for improvements. Currently the hall is run by a committee of volunteers who rent and maintain the hall and put on events and regular activities for Newton in the Isle and surrounding villages.
